DeLorean DMC-12 1983 dream car skillfully restored with many updates. Extremely reliable, enhanced improvements accomplished over the 9 years I have owned it. Car is in excellent daily driving condition and better than original factory condition! It has been my daily driver for 9 years having driven it  over 36,000 miles since a new original crated engine was installed. . I made sure it was important to retain the  original look.  Use this DeLorean to attract customers to your business, tour it nationwide to create traffic to your customers’ stores. Or simply display at any car show and walk away with a trophy.

The effect that the Delorean has on people when I take it out for a drive is nothing short of amazing. I have had it at many special events for businesses that want to attract attention to their product or store. When displayed at car shows or in a parade, I can’t think of a single car that draws a crowd as well as the DeLorean. The styling on the DMC car is timeless in my opinion and you can be sure that when you show up at a car show or at a special business event, this DeLorean dream car is a showstopper on its own and is capable of drawing crowds to it whether you are filling up at a service station, driving down the freeway or sitting in front of your or any other business. The DeLorean isn’t a time machine, and the DeLorean isn’t a speed machine: The DeLorean is a smile machine. It generates smiles wherever it goes. This DeLorean is ready for a new daily driver to enjoy. The Future film trilogy. There’s no doubt that Back to the Future film trilogy movies made the DeLorean DMC-12 popular. People all over the world know the iconic car and its famous gull wing doors.

WOULD MAKE A GREAT CORPORATE OFFICIAL APPEARANCE VEHICLE!

My DeLorean is the only DeLorean in the World that has 2 TV screens under the hood

Unseen are two 19” TV monitors mounted under the hood. The two TV 19” Monitors mounted under the hood allow you to play video or display photos from SD Flash Memory card (that you create) when hood is open. As far as I know this truly makes my Delorean a one-of-a-kind in the world.

The 90-second version of the Walmart ad featuring classic movie-themed cars including the DeLorean , was the most-talked-about ad during the Golden Globes and garnered more than 6 million views by the morning of Jan 8.

If you are your company’s CMO (Chief Marketing Officer), you can display your company logo and product on the TV monitors under the hood. DeLoreans are most popular among Gen-Xers, which makes sense given they were in their late teens and early 20s when Back to the Future movies were released. Gen-Xers account for 41.3 percent of DeLorean purchases, compared to 32.3 percent across the rest of the market. Millennials account for 26.8 percent of the DeLoreans purchased. When displayed at special event venues…folks from 8 to 88, blue collar to CEO’s will literally lineup to have their photo taken by it. If you want to promote your product it can be displayed not only on the two 19” TV monitors under the hood, but also, on the flip up dash mounted screen while sitting in the car. A movie such as Back To The Future or even an info commercial produced by your creative department can also be played simultaneously produced by your creative. department can also be played simultaneously.

Thanks to the enduring popularity of the film, the DeLorean remains perennially active in the minds of all ages. Whether you are 8 or 88 years old…you will recognize the DeLorean. The Back to the Future movie trilogy has made this one of the world’s most loved movie cars. The stainless-steel DeLorean DMC-12 is one of the most iconic cars of the eighties. But thanks to the enduring popularity of the film, the DeLorean remains perennially active in the imaginations of young people also.

As this car becomes rarer (only about 6,500 drivable on the road per recent survey) It’s going to become difficult to find one in great shape for less than $60,000+. THERE IS NO OTHER DELOREAN ON THE PLANET LIKE MINE! I have over $9,000 (including the hidden Tv monitors) in upgraded features but was able to keep the original “look” of this iconic 1983 DeLorean. A strong OEM parts supply, continuing performance developments, and the enduring popularity of its movie appearances, mean there will always be a demand for this iconic Eighties ride.

Collectors are the reason DeLorean prices have been sky rocketing. Collectors realized because of the availability of new old stock parts…over 95% of NOS are available plus many aftermarket parts from several companies.

You don’t own a Delorean for performance or speed. The DeLorean wasn’t about horsepower. It wasn’t about speed. It was really about design; I grew up in the ’80s and I remember these cars coming out. When you saw one going down the road… it was like seeing the future. It’s hard to imagine the DeLorean as being a one of a kind, but that was the case. When it was produced, the DMC-12 was one of two rear-engine, rear-wheel-drive cars on the market. The other one? The legendary Porsche 911.

Very special indeed, DMC-12 had a rear-mounted engine like Porsche 911. Its chassis was engineered by Lotus, no wonder it had a steel backbone chassis like Lotus Esprit, as were the double-wishbone front and multi-link rear suspensions. Like Lotus Elite, the body structure was glass-fiber, but the outer panels were brushed stainless steel,

Designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, the vehicle features gullwing doors, fiberglass body, steel backbone chassis, and brushed stainless steel body panels.

For those who want a low mileage car…keep in mind that you will need to spend many thousands of $$$ & still not come close to the dependability of my DeLorean. A vehicle that is driven frequently and has been well-maintained will be a more reliable bet than low mileage DeLoreans.

Mileage. The 2 most important factors to consider is how well a DeLorean has been maintained and what condition it is in. Low mileage used DeLoreans can be very seductive but keep your eyes on the prize: namely…Low miles aren’t always your friend and that is especially true of DeLoreans. DeLoreans with low miles typically mean that all updates haven’t been done. Think about it, why would you own a DeLorean and not drive it on regular basis. A daily driver like mine, even if the miles are considerably higher is a far better decision.

My Delorean has only 98,605 miles, which equates to roughly 2600 miles per year. Performance is powered by a 2.8 Ltr V6 engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, with Rack and Pinion steering, cold A/C.  The Stainless-Steel body looks great, I can’t find any flaws. The gray leather interior, gauges, console, door panels, all are in excellent condition.  The gull wing doors open and close properly.  As soon as the door handle is pulled, the gull wing doors rise on their own. There is another DeLorean that has surpassed 800,000 miles and is still on the road for the Michael J Fox  Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. Use this DeLorean to attract customers to your business or fundraiser. Display it at an event; and when the gullwing doors go up, watch the crowds come in!

The 2 reasons I am selling my DeLorean…I will turn 80 next month and I just bought a new Corvette. A third reason is my wife wants her car in the garage. My “let it go”  pricing is $49,700…keep in mind that there is $7,000+ in audio/visual custom installed along with many other aftermarket stainless steel products (over $2,000) on this one-of-a-kind DeLorean. Back to the Future movie trilogy has made this one of the world’s most loved movie cars. If you are looking for a “Garage Queen” (rarely driven) or a project car…this is not the DeLorean for you. If you want a DeLorean to drive coast to coast or a daily driver…this is the D car for you.

There are approximately 6,000 of them left today, and since they’re such collector’s items, you’ll hardly see any of them on the street. Only 9,080 were ever produced.

The DeLorean name has lived on years after the car manufacturer stopped making cars – thanks in large part to the Back to the Future Trilogy. Doc Brown’s DMC DeLorean time machine has cemented the car company’s only model of vehicle as an indelible icon, which collectors have been competing for / trading ever since the DMC went out of production in 1983, and Back to the Future made it famous in 1985.
